Pharmaceuticals

The materials used in the pharmaceutical industry must never serve as a source of contamination for the products being manufactured. In addition, the release of metal particles during various production processes must be avoided. Finally, surface coatings often experience bonding problems with the underlayer. None of these issues play a role when diffusion-based processes are used for inchromizing and hard inchromizing treatments. If one also considers the additional benefits in terms of increased resistance to wear and corrosion, the benefits are obvious: greatly reduced downtime, increased production, and lower costs.
