How we collect and use the personal data of customers, suppliers, and other parties

We will collect and use the personal data you provide to us as necessary to conclude and perform any agreement with you. This applies both to our current and prospective customers and parties from whom we purchase business and/or services.

If you are a current and prospective customer of ours, we will use your data to send you a quotation, determine your specifications or preferences for a particular transaction or service, deliver goods or perform work for you, invoice you, and communicate with you quickly and efficiently in order to perform the agreement.

If you are a current or prospective supplier or contractor, then your personal data is also necessary for us to conclude and perform the agreement. When we purchase goods or services, this is necessary in order to let you know what specifications or preferences a particular transaction or service should meet for us, send a request for quotation or place an order with you, pay your invoices, and communicate with you quickly and efficiently on other aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with the personal data we request, we may not be able to carry out the actions mentioned above.

Transfer to third parties
In order to perform any agreement with you, we may need to provide your personal information to parties who supply parts, materials, and products to us or carry out work on our behalf. We also use external server space to store our sales and purchasing records (in whole or in part), which include your personal data. For this reason, your personal data will be supplied to our server room provider. Because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data will be passed on to the provider of this service.

Direct marketing
If you have given us permission to do so, we will retain and use the personal data you provide to inform you personally about our existing and new products and services by e-mail in the future and potentially send you offers. Every time we send you marketing, you can let us know that you no longer wish to receive it by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.

Personal data retention period
If you have requested a quote from us but do not become a customer with us, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. Equally, if we have received a quotation from you but we do not become a customer of you, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after our last contact. If you have become a customer with us or we with you, we will retain your personal data for seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was last performed. The seven-year period corresponds to the period for which we are obliged to retain records for the Dutch tax authorities. We will delete your personal data at the end of this period.
